Closeup: Pin Pot
Pin pot
Wheel thrown, painted, thousands of pins. H: 12”
This piece was thrown and footed, when the piece was leather-hard, all the pins were stuck into the pot. They were removed before the bisque firing. If the pins are left in the pot during firing they will disintegrate. After firing, the piece was painted with acrylic paint and all the pins were hot-glued into the original holes.

John & Linda in a Beautiful World

John & Linda in a Beautiful World
Wheel thrown, altered, carved, pain ted with mixed media
This early collaboration with Linda Illustrates the beautiful world we live in and the deep appreciation we have for sharing our lives — in this beautiful world. We are walking the beach at Tybee Island, Saavannah’s barrrier island with our dogs: our chocolate lab “Tybee” and our crazy little long-haired chichihau “Geraldo.” The sun is shining, the sky is blue, planets swirl in the heavens, waves lap the beach and birds fly around us. What a glorious, magical world.
Thank You.
