Constructed of pine this table with hand carved legs and other pieces were screwed together using the small headed star screws. A jig saw was used for most cuts, a 4.5” grinder with 24 grit sandpaper used for rough carving and rasps and sandpaper for refinement. Th decorative incised lines were done free-hand using a Dremel tool. The tiles were made of clay, carved, glazed and fired to 1875 degrees Fahrenheit in a raku kiln and the wood was stained with amber shellac.
